   I've been to Evelyns a couple of times. This time the meat on the Sunday dinner was incredibly tough. We asked for additional gravy which never arrived. We weren't asked how our meal was at the end. The meal did not deserve the £60 + price.

   We booked for Mother’s Day breakfast so it was busy and the staff who greeted us and served us were lovely and helpful. There was what seemed like a manager setting up more tables next to us and he seemed quite pushy to the other staff trying to get them to squeeze people onto tables when they were clearly too small. The toilets were also not the cleanest and a bit worn. The food was ok but two of us had the baked eggs and it wasn’t very flavourful. It was basically just tomatoes with one egg and two cubes of feta. It was expensive for what you got. Another one of us got porridge and for over £6 it was tiny and very basic. We could have eaten better at home. Overall I’d say you can get much better value for money elsewhere. The decor is lovely as were the staff we encountered but otherwise I’d go elsewhere especially if I were hungry.

   Friendly efficient service. Especially welcomed when my date was late as a lady on her own, I was already flustered! Lovely food- beetroot and goats cheese salad especially tasty. Thanks for a great evening experience.

    A proper refuge from the rain and madness of Manchester on a Saturday! Food was gorgeous, especially the hummus and the chocolate mousse. Lovely atmosphere and decor and the staff were lovely too. Will definitely be going back

    Right from walking in the door the ambience was exactly the vibe I was looking for. Eclectic Menu Choices allowed us to explore different tastes and what a surprise when a whole fish was delivered not just a fillet.

    Staff isn’t the best , waitress spiller coke all over me and my bag, as I’m struggling to bend down with my pregnant belly she should have helped to clean it up but rather she disappeared. She eventually came back to ask if I need anything, I asked for extra gravy she never came back with that neither , my bag is still sticky

    Every dish perfectly seasoned and flavoursome. Steak an absolute belter, cooked just rare and tasted lush. Woukd definitely eat here again.

    Expensive for average small plated food. My lamb skewers had a lot of cartilage and was poor quality. Chicken was good but only accompanied with cabbage and pomegranate seeds, for the price it wasn't worth it. Only plus side is ambience and service.

    Foods is burnt, the cabbage, chicken and the pitta came with the humus, they are all burnt, quite a let down from the amazing brunches it serves

    Brilliant, personal service. Very tasty food. Food came quickly, lots of good attention from staff. However, too many carbs in the food for a "healthy" restaurant. And quite difficult to choose food that was low-carb. One of our party is a type 3c diabetic and it took a while to find them something healthy. Our nation faces an epidemic of diabetes and we need to offer low-carb food (which is tastier anyway).

    food was sadly underwhelming (roast dinner was literally 3 potatoes, kale, one carrot, an under seasoned yorkshire pudding and a slice of meat) and service was strangely slow and inattentive considering the not exactly hectic lunch time. waitress was friendly and fun thus the one redeeming feature, even if we only saw a little bit of her. surprised after this place came highly recommended to me.

    I went for a roast dinner, the potatoes were burnt, gravy was like water no flavour very thin, chicken had no flavour very bland. The staff are slow I asked for a sauce got it at the end of my meal and the tables are too close together risk for health and safety

    Great food, tasty, imaginative dishes and full of flavour. The new menu is fantastic! Service is excellent and the staff are very attentive. Ambience is usually perfect but on the night in question there were a number of diners who were far too loud. There is absolutely no need for it. However you can't blame the restaurant. Would definitely go again but on a quieter night.

    Service 11/10 More than enough options for Gf, vgn and vg :) Food and drinks were delish. Portion sizes were small to medium per person. Ambience was chilled out and fun All their meats are halal too (not sure if kosher as well)
