The Chief has taken the serious risk of developing an incredible explosion of flavor-rich dishes and desserts that explode in your palate and brighten up your senses. If you have the opportunity to visit Rome, go to Anima and submerge yourself in a fantastic atmosphere with an amazing service team, a great wine selection and a Genius chef capable of turning this restaurant into a culinary art. - NNatGoldAtlanta •54 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoThis restaurant was established less than a year ago and is not well known, yet. The chef takes pride in substituting ingredients for traditional Italian dishes. For example, I was served Cordon-Bleu that contained no chicken or pork, yet it was delicious. Worth the trip for a creative food experience.More infoAnavà€€€€• Italian• Trevi•4.9
- AAnnKansas City / Kansas •7 reviews5.0Dined on 24 Sept 2026Marco our server was fantastic, explained the dishes well and offered a tasting of our wine choices to confirm we liked them prior to pouring. The food was incredible, we enjoyed the tuna pasta with tartare. The ambiance was amazing, later in our meal the music became quite loud otherwise would have given noise level a better rating. We celebrated our anniversary and Marco brought us a special dessert to enjoy. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a Sicilian food experience prepared by skilled Roman hands. - LLisaNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined on 18 Sept 2026This was one of the most amazing restaurants on our trip to Rome. It was so elegant and peaceful. The courtyard was beautiful and the large columns made an amazing backdrop to our cocktails and dinner. Add in the fact that it is a literal palace where an Italian princess still lives, made it a night we will never forget!More infoCaffè Doria€€€€• Italian• Pigna•4.4
- LLaraGoldHouston •21 reviews5.0Dined on 2 Jan 2026This place was a little slice of heaven in Rome. Off the beaten path and near the Colosseum. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We slept in one morning, and we came here for brunch/early lunch. The food was delicious. The staff was fantastic. It was perfect! We (me, husband, and 13 year old son) loved it so much that we ate here again on another day. Highly recommend.More infoAurora Bistrot & Bar€€€€• Italian• Monti•4.8
