The ambience was lovely and relaxing. The staff were a perfect mix of friendly and attentive, rather than being overbearing like in some places. The food was to die for, will definitely be returning.

I enjoyed my meal at My Thai Piccadilly. The food and Thai beer was lovely and the service was spot on with a lovely waitress called Mee ( ?) who provided welcome advice. The decor was interesting. Our meal was during daylight but at night time I bet the luminous neon colours will pop. We had our meal when there wasn’t many other customers so the atmosphere was a bit muted but when it’s busy later on in the evening I can imagine that it will have a great ambiance I’m looking forward to my next visit! Really delicious. We were going to an event at Aviva for 7:30 so it was the perfect walking distance and ambiance, also speedy service and great vegetarian options. Would recommend the paneer roll, the pickled aubergine and the bhaji with crunchy peanuts. So good!

My partner and I had a lovely time at the Spinningfields Slug and Lettuce. We've been to a few in Manchester and this is by far our favourite. We came for dinner before heading to the theatre, and even though we'd left it a bit late we got our food really quickly so had plenty of time to enjoy it before heading out. I had the medium rare steak with peppercorn sauce (lovely) and my partner had the fish and chips - we've always thought you could only get really good fish on the coast so we were pleasantly surprised to find it perfectly crispy (and massive!) Cocktails are varied and good value with the 241 offer, and the staff are lovely - our waitress Lily was especially warm and friendly, and it's always nice when you can sense that the staff enjoy their job. The bar was busy with office workers and theatre people (the couple next to us was also seeing the show!) but not so loud you couldn't still have a chat, which I appreciate as I get older. We will definitely be back soon!
