Marathon is one of our go-to places for celebrating milestones and special occasions with our two kids. The food is solid with plenty of variety, and the service is always friendly and accommodating. They made my son’s birthday special with a candle in dessert, and then they took it off the bill for his birthday! Truly a wonderful neighborhood spot. The kids love the thanksgiving dinner, mac ‘n cheese, and smoothies, the ribs are a hit, and the lava cake melts in your mouth. Try the specials, too!

Char was unbelievably delicious. Highly recommend the kale ceasar and whipped ricotta apps. The pizzas were delicious (spicy white & fun guy), two was plenty to split between three people, and the BAKED ALASKA stole the show :O 10/10 no notes

Meetinghouse was excellent. The roast beef sandwich was tremendous, as were the baked clams (that broth!), but the real standout was the crab dip. The cheese was melted and crisped to perfection, the dip was stuffed with flavorful pieces of crab, and the toast points were the perfect vessel for it. I also thoroughly enjoyed the Mount Pleasant beer. The ambiance was laid back and welcoming — a candlelit room in the back of a bar with wood tables and amazing food will always be my kryptonite. 5/5, I will be returning every time I visit Philly.

Used to go to Chances food truck at Temple all the time, first time I finally go to the actual restaurant and it was an awesome experience. The chef’s tasting might be one of the best deals in the city. Everything was delicious and the servers were fun and enthusiastic. Would definitely recommend and know you will leave very full.

My family and I recently had dinner at Cerveau and thoroughly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. We'd never been to but had heard good things about Pizza Brain and when we read that Cerveau was a new incarnation of that restaurant in the Callowhill neighborhood, we gave it a try. We started our meal by sharing 3 yummy appetizers - Rigatoni Alla Vodka, Cacio E Pepe, & Garlic Parm Fries - and then proceeded to enjoy 2 delicious pizzas - Queenie & Pep Pep Pepperoni. All the food was very flavorful and the different sauces were bursting with fresh ingredients. We also loved the funky artwork and bright paint colors, both of which added to the dining experience in terms of the atmosphere. Needless to say, we'll be back again!
