- MMargaretGoldChicago / Illinois •10 reviews4.0Dined 4 days agoExcellent service from Alex and a nice, neighborhood vibe. Food was good, generous portions, served with starter and sides. We had the chicken kebabs, which were delicious on a large platter of rice and grilled veggies, the burger, and roast turkey. Nice selection of wine and a large menu with something for everyone!More infoValley Lodge Tavern - Glenview$$$$• American• Glenview•4.5
- RRichardGoldChicago / Illinois •164 reviews5.0Dined on 14 Oct 2026We had a wonderful early dinner at Alex's Washington Gardens and will be back. The menu is extensive -- almost too many decisions to make for one meal. I loved the Chicken Marsala and my wife enjoyed her Whitefish Florentine, though there may have been a bit too much butter on the plate. Serving portions were plentiful -- we both took food home for lunch the next day. Amy was a great server, checking in with us frequently.More infoAlex's Washington Gardens$$$$• Italian• Highland Park•4.7
