Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Dana Point / Monarch Beach

Our server was the best! He was consistently a step ahead of us, practically reading our minds only meeting our needs before we asked or thought of it ourselves. We had the best anniversary dinner because of him!

First time dining at the Lumberyard! Great comfort food - their menu is extensive and we were guided to the down home items by our server. Chicken pot pie and rotisserie chicken dinner were delicious. I loved their extensive lemonade choices! The tudor-house styling screams old-Laguna Beach and we loved that we could park in Lot 12, the "Lumberyard Lot" right across the street. Restaurant was quiet inside, even when the 3-piece combo started playing on the Saturday night that we were there. Menu items priced extremely fairly. Service was friendly, knowledgeable, and speedy. They have a large full bar with sports screens in the middle of the restaurant, but somehow it wasn't noisy. Magical! We loved the entire experience!

We sat out on the inside patio, not the one right on the street. I had Bronzino that was very delicious and moderately priced. Server was attentive and helpful.
