The service was impeccable and the dinner delightful! I recommend the Hungarian wine with the chicken paprikash! Thank you for adding palascintas to your menu! How did you know apricot was my favorite? Just like grandma used to make! Köszönöm Roli and Angela!

Our dinners were excellent. Our server was excellent. We requested a number of adjustments to our orders such as no quinoa in the berry salad and a side of aoli with the Caesar salad with crab cakes and all were addressed perfectly. The scrod dinner looked delicious. And to start, don’t miss the bread order with roasted garlic. Delicious.

I rarely give feedback for restaurants, but in this case, I had to make an exception. Anchor social is a very special restaurant. The food is very thoughtfully curated and every dish we had was incredible. But the service atmosphere and overall “Cheers” feel is what makes this restaurant a truly special place. Highly recommend! you feel like everyone in there knows your name. 5 out of 5 stars. Wish we had more establishments like this one.

As always the food, service, and ambiance was excellent. This is the best restaurant within a 20 to 25 mile radius of Sandy Hook. Ps. You can actually have a conversation with the person across the table from you without screaming!
