- BBijalGoldChicago / Illinois •14 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had an absolutely wonderful dining experience, and a huge part of that was thanks to our servers, Shelby and Kani. From the moment we sat down, they were attentive, professional, and genuinely warm. Both went out of their way to offer thoughtful menu suggestions that really elevated our meal, and their care for our experience never wavered throughout the evening. It's rare to encounter a serving team that works so seamlessly together while also making each guest feel so personally looked after. Shelby and Kani truly went above and beyond, and because of them, we left with smiles on our faces. We will absolutely be back — and we'll be hoping to sit in their section again!More infoAntoine's$$$$• French• French Quarter•4.6

- PParadiseCleveland / Akron / Canton •1 review5.0Dined on 23 May 2026It is no rarity to find a culinary gem in New Orleans, but out of all of them, Chemin à la Mer is truly exceptional. Located on the fifth floor of the Four Seasons, it offers elevated, sweeping views of the Mississippi River that are completely unique to the city. While the setting is beautiful, what truly elevated our day was the hospitality. Our server, Elysia, was fantastic, and her warm, attentive service made the entire experience wonderful. The food fully matches the views. We started with a half-dozen Bright Side oysters that were so fresh, bright, and delicious that we immediately ordered six more. For the main course, the wedge salad was crisp and loaded with thick-cut, smoky bacon, while the seafood gumbo was a local triumph—built on a flawless, deeply rich dark roux with generous portions of tender shrimp and oysters. Paired with a crisp glass of Sancerre to cut through the rich gumbo and complement the oysters, it was the ultimate afternoon lunch. We didn't have room for dessert, but the pastry menu looked incredible. For exceptional cuisine, unmatched views, and top-tier service, Chemin à la Mer stands out as a premier New Orleans experience.More infoChemin à la Mer$$$$• Steakhouse• Central Business District•4.5
