Best Fine Dining Restaurants in Bergisch Neukirchen

Dined at Taku as an American tourist visiting Köln and staying at the Excelsior Hotel Ernst. Reserved a table for two at opening (1830hrs) and left at around 2145 to 2200hrs, so ensure you have adequate time. Booked the 6 course meal option with traditional wine pairing. We were greeted by the host immediately and sat down to wine options/beer/water. We received two complimentary appetizers which were good. The 6 dishes were delicious, albeit some were saltier than preferred. There were food items in the dishes that did complement and reduce the saltiness which made them more enjoyable. The wines were decent as well. The servers explained every meal and every wine that was presented. Overall experience is a 4/5.

Everything’s perfect. They gave us a special birthday surprise dessert and the whole crew celebrated the birthday. It was so pure kimd of them. Thank you for everything again and again.

This was an amazing experience from start to finish - each course was unique and delicious with wine pairings that were perfect. Service was among the best we've had and can't wait to come back. Their house-made hazelnut liquor is a must try!
