Best Fine Dining Restaurants in Rittenhouse Square

We sat in the bar area and really enjoyed it. Service was very prompt and good. Food was delicious. Steaks were cooked perfectly. The sides were delicious. Highly recommend.

Our experience was 10/10. Steven was amazing. He really made the experience feel inviting and his knowledge of the menu was top notch.

Butcher & Singer was an excellent experience in every regard. Walking in the place, originally a bank building constructed in 1927, set an impressive tone of an old-school steakhouse. First bites of the laminated biscuits, and we knew we were in for a treat! And that Butcher & Singer oven must be hot - our generously cut filets came out with a proper Maillard crust, so dry and intense I was initially concerned they were overcooked. But one slice revealed a perfect medium-rare red center and every flavor you can imagine in between. But the most outstanding aspect of the entire evening was the absolutely wonderful service…balanced, expert and delightful! (Hint: ask for Lindsey’s table!) Our next trip to Philly will definitely include a reservation at Butcher & Singer.
