They even treated us to dessert for our anniversary in which we wasn’t expecting it.More infoMastro's Steakhouse - San Francisco$$$$• Steakhouse• Downtown / Union Square•4.6

- JjerlynGoldSan Francisco Bay Area •50 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoWhat a wonderful way to spend such a special birthday celebration. Our waiter, Yin, was awesome. The service was impeccable . Everyone was friendly. The food excellent! The 3 course definitely worth every penny and a great value. Had the steak tartar and was by far the beat i have ever had :) excellent wines and selection. Desserts so hard ti choose because they had so so many to choose from.. we ended up getting the pumpkin cake and of course the chocolate cake. We werr also surprised how busy and full they were on a Monday night, which shows this is how wonderful this restaurant is!!! To go to for special occasions!More infoBoulevard$$$$• Californian• Financial District / Embarcadero•4.8
- NNamGoldSan Francisco Bay Area •21 reviews5.0Dined on 27 Sept 2026Commis more than deserves its two Michelin-starred rating. The dinner was exquisite! Each dish had its own vibrant and distinct flavors, and yet the menu was cohesive in the collective dishes, including the desserts. All were delicious! The atmosphere was relaxed without pretension. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The wine selections were fun and fitting of the various courses. Commis is worth the visit, no matter the distance. ❤️More infoCommis$$$$• Californian• Oakland•4.8
- SSMBGoldSan Francisco Bay Area •19 reviews5.0Dined on 19 Sept 2026Fantastic experience overall. Food was spectacular; wine pairing perfect. Adored the staff. Warm and friendly while still being consummate professionals. The only negative at all is that I didn’t love the space itself. A bit cold and impersonal. Felt sort of like a converted office space. That being said, I still loved it and would go back.More infoO' by Claude Le Tohic$$$$• French• Downtown / Union Square•4.7
