Lovely location with pond view with impeccable service and an outstanding meal that you would expect at a Roy’s. We had the Golden Hour/Sunset Menu which included a trip of appetizers (seared ahi, glazed ribs, spring rolls with amazing sauces), Roy’s famous miso butterfly/black cod with bok choy and black rice (very large portion), and flourless chocolate cake — all for $55. Absolutely incredible value and the best dining experience we’ve had on Kona. Highly recommended. (Pointer: this special menu is from 4:30-5:30 and you need to ask for the menu.)

We really enjoyed our birthday celebration dinner here. Casual, yet great attention to detail. Service and food were above and beyond, music quiet enough to hear others at the table. Musician had a nice mix of Hawaiian old and new melodies, with 70’s covers. A very graceful hula dancer added to this special evening.

One of us had the crabcake appetizer. Came with THREE crabcakes and slaw. She loved it. My hubby had the grilled shrimp cobb salad and he ate very bit of it. I had the stuffed chicken and if we go again before we leave the island, I would order the same thing again! Delicious!
