- MMelissaGoldNew York City •36 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoEverything we ordered was delicious. The fried artichoke basket was so light and tasty, the cacio e pepe was perfect, and the meatballs were airy and well seasoned. Super casual street cafe with delicious food, perfect for a casual dinner. Only negative was that they charged 7 euros when we asked for some extra bread to go with the meatballs, other than that the prices were very reasonable.More infoA Casa Tua€€€€• Italian• Monti•4.6

The food was incredible, we enjoyed the tuna pasta with tartare. The ambiance was amazing, later in our meal the music became quite loud otherwise would have given noise level a better rating. We celebrated our anniversary and Marco brought us a special dessert to enjoy. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a Sicilian food experience prepared by skilled Roman hands. - AARome •1 review4.0Dined on 28 Aug 2026I very much enjoyed my dinner at Tavern Urbana. For an appetizer we got the meat and cheese tower, definitely need a minimum of 2 people for that. The ricotta with the honey on top was absolutely amazing. It tasted almost as good as the homemade ricotta my Nonna makes. For primi I got the Burrata and Pistachio ravioli which I liked very much. While it didn’t have the most “explosive” flavor, it was subtle and tasty. My boyfriend got the pasta in the cheese wheel. Everyone in the restaurant paused to watch it get spun around and made. For only 6€ more to spin it around in the cheese wheel it was 100% worth it and they really did load it up. For my second I got the veal, this was my first time trying veal, the meat itself was cooked well and smothered in sauce but I just personally didn’t care for it just not my style but if you’re someone who likes veal I think you’d enjoy it. Lastly for dessert we shared a tiramisu which was absolutely phenomenal. Don’t be fooled by the lack of lady fingers in the appearance. There wasn’t a lot but boy were they SOAKED in coffee and that cream was absolutely delicious. I would definitely come back to Tavern Urbana if I ever find myself back in Rome.More infoTaverna Urbana€€€€• Italian• Monti•4.4
