Best Gluten Free Restaurants in San Marcos

This is the place to go just across from the beach. Upstairs full service restaurant, downstairs sports bar. We were celebrating our 40th anniversary, we actually booked near closing not realizing it, but you would have never known. The staff did not rush us. They congratulated us and gave us a complimentary dessert. Our waiter, a kind, tall handsome young man was so kind and and attentive. The manager, lI think, was sweet and personable. As a matter of fact everyone we encountered were amazing. The food OMG, delicious! EXTRAORDINAY, Yummy! A hidden gem in Carlsbad.

Definitely a great dining experience. The menu is varied seasonally, and the dishes we had were all cooked perfectly (Wild Coast Seafood Pasta and Pan Seared Sea Bass). The charred cabbage and charred spicy shrimp were excellent as well. I must recommend the current Sauvignon Blanc they have from the Sancerre region - light, hint of fruit, and the dry subtle "chalk" finish that is endemic to that reason due to the chalky soils. So good! Def a must do! Our server was excellent - attentive but not overly so. We had a lovely table near the window as the sky turned orange - a perfect meal at days end.

It was our first visit to Stone. We called in advance of outmr reservation party of 5 to request indoor dining because it was a ridiculously hot day. We were told there were no guarantees for that. When we arrived after a short wait we were seated in doors Thank God! Big Thank you to the staff!!

Excellent lunch. Delicious food. Service was wonderful. Beautiful view!

Loved this place, pizza was great Italian style pizza, pasta was good, fresh, just a little too much flour in the gnocchi in our opinion, but otherwise would highly recommend! Parking was a little confusing not knowing the area but it was easy to figure out.
