Best Kid Friendly Restaurants in Broomfield

Acreage by Stem Ciders has a welcoming setting. The food was good, though the salmon was overcooked. It was interesting to try the various ciders. They complemented the food well.

My sister and brother-in-law having been raving about Bucatino since it opened. Finally tonight my husband and I drove up from central Denver to eat there with them. Great food, plenty of parking (don't get discouraged by seeing lots of cars close to the restaurant, there are a lot of tables inside!), reasonable prices, large servings, tasty specials - we are envious that there is no comparable restaurant near us in Denver. There were a few not perfect experiences. for example my medium New York Strip steak was almost rare. But not a problem! It was so large that I ate the cooked part around the exterior and my husband and I will cook the center tomorrow for our dinner - the leftover portion is plenty for both of us. And it did get noisy by 6:30 on a Friday night as every table filled up. Also, it helps if you love garlic because it is in almost everything and it is used heavily. At our table we had the ahi tuna appetizer - not garlicky! And my sister had the trout - also not garlicky. Both excellent. Lamb chops and steak (the cooked part) were scrumptious, although the side of broccholini flavor was masked by, yes, garlic! Strangely, the garlic mashed potatoes were otherwise a bit flavorless. At the end of the night nothing was left on our plates except for the center of my steak in a takeout box. Because we arrived at 5:35 we enjoyed happy hour prices for our drinks so that was a pleasant surprise. The service was lovely, no interrupting us in the middle of a story, very smooth and professional. While everything was not 100% perfection, it was the best we've had recently in the Denver area. We've stopped going out much the past few years because the experience has not been worth the cost and bother. However the experience at Bucatino was well worth it. I only wish this restaurant was closer to us instead of 3 minutes from my sister's house!

We had an amazing time- our chef Chencho was funny, talented, wowed us with his skills (which is impressive because I’ve been dining at Benihana for decades!!), and attentive to the little extras people might need. Extra sauce, extra spice, little considerations. Not every chef does that. Our server though, sweet as they were, and maybe they were new, or maybe just super busy- let all of our tables drinks go empty for way too long. Many of us stopped eating because we had nothing to drink whatsoever. But they were doing the best they could, and when it was brought to their attention they were responsive and prompt. Overall a great experience. Perfectly cooked rice, shrimp, lobster tail, slightly overcooked steak but absolutely not a fault, just got mixed up with the person next to me. Still yummy and still a fantastic show.

Adriana was our server on Christmas Day. She was very pleasant and made our experience very enjoyable. Food was great, decor was perfect, and our experience was very pleasant.

Fabulous food and the best bacon anywhere! The staff is very friendly too. We loved it!
