Our fourth time at the Dumb Post. Food excellent as always, and I am continually impressed by the level of attention that the various staff give to all the diners and other customers. Nothing is too much trouble, and they are always friendly and helpful.

The dosa were very good, we had a traditional masala one and a hotter one, beautiful flavours, we shared two between four of us as a starter. The thali are great value, and give you the chance to try different dishes, all very tasty

A lovely pub/restaurant, very good service, menu plenty of choice. Only negative was the first course of trout which was very small, no more than three mouthfuls and a bit dry. The chateubriand for two was perfecly cooked and delightully rare while the broccoli was pleasantly crunchy. Could have done with a choice of chips to accompany rather than potato galette but othersie excellent and good value for money. A regular visitor.
