Best Kid Friendly Restaurants in Hyde Park

We had a great brunch experience & the staff at the bakery were very friendly and helpful.

Legal C bar is usually perfect every time I visit for dinner. This time the service was dismal. My friend and I waited a solid twelve minutes before the waitress came to our table. We had to ask the manager to bring her over to take our drink order. Disappointing and hopefully this is a one off!

We enjoyed our meals and would recommend the restaurant to anyone looking for tasty food. What I really want to comment on is the customer service. We had two very small issues with one meal. The waiter was immediately responsive, and the manager was apologetic and efficient. Kudos to whoever sets the standards and trains staff. And thanks to the restaurant for doing the right thing.

The Boston Ale House was good. I went with a buddy and we sat at the bar. I had a cranberry margarita and my friend had a captain and diet and both drinks were good. For food, I got the tuna poke bowl which I really liked. My friend had the salmon and asked for it cooked medium rare but he felt it was over cooked. I’ve had the salmon before and didn’t specify the temperature and it was good with the “default” temperature. There was a football game on the many TVs, some huge, so it was a pretty lively crowd. Bartenders were good and friendly enough. It’s a big open space with large windows looking out at Center St. in West Roxbury. It’s a nice place. Overall a fun night and I would definitely recommend it.
