It was a nice evening, delivery of the food was really fast which normally takes longer. The waiter was really kind and attentive. The food was good but I had better already. Overall a good night.

Lovely venue, fabulous service, great food. We tried most of the pasta dishes between us and they were all excellent. The truffle pasta was delicious. They adjusted a dish to cater for one of our party’s dietary requirements. They were very friendly and accommodating.

Very nice restaurant, which opens even on Christmas eve when everything else is closed. Very good food quality and taste. My family and I spent a very pleasant and delicious evening dining there.

Our first visit to Bier-Esel and It did not disappoint. Great service, great atmosphere and great food. Difficult to find fault and when we next visit Cologne we would, certainly, look to make another trip to Bier-Esel. Would thoroughly recommend.

A wonderful restaurant with character and ambience. The food is delicious and authentic and the waiters and waitresses are a delight; so helpful and keen to make our evening relaxed and special. To top it all....a fabulous chef who came out to our table to tell us what was on the menu as he was the only person who could speak English. What a star and what a compliment. I would hghly recommend this restaurant. Thank you to all, Caren.
