Best Kid Friendly Restaurants in Puyallup

Favorite restaurant! Always delicious and great service!

This was our second dining experience at 8 Restaurant. The food has been delicious and Chet, our server both times, has been kind and attentive. Monday through Thursday, the restaurant offers what they call 848. Which is 8 small bite plates for $8 each. A great deal if you want to try some of their offerings. Our most recent dining experience was on a Wednesday. The restaurant was busier than when we went on a Monday. But it was great to see families with children dining there.

The rib eye was perfectly cooked over a wood fire right in front of us. There is no ambience to speak of here. So if “mood” is what you’re looking for, you won’t find it here. But the food was delicious. They waitstaff gave to be their own bartenders, which is unfair to them and the customers because they sometimes disappear for periods of time to make drinks (& they don’t have a full bar). We ate here both breakfast and dinner and enjoyed both meals. Waitstaff was friendly and running their butts off trying to keep up.

Front end reception was awesome. Friendly smile and courteous. Our server Caitlyn was amazing.
