BUT the thing that we were disappointed with was with the hostess. She was very blasé and seemed like we had annoyed her as we approached the hostess table. Instead of saying "how can I help you," she was chatting it up with her co-workers as we waited. When she finally did get to us she seemed like we upset her. That short interaction got the experience off to a bad start. BUT things quickly turned around and aside from that, our experience at Carmine's was great!! Very big portions which is great to share. Pasta was tasty and wifey approved! :) Drinks were absolutely Great!! We will come here again and try a new dish.More infoCarmine's - 91st Street - NYCPrice: Expensive• Italian• Upper West Side•4.6

Once seated we received the run down on the family style dining, which was much appreciated. Our server from Kosovo was friendly and informative. The celebrity caricatures on the wall are fun but the food is why we came and we weren’t disappointed! Alfredo was divine, the best we’ve ever had. Don’t miss a stop here on your next trip to NYC.More infoTony's Di Napoli - MidtownPrice: Expensive• Italian• Theater District•4.8
- JJuneGreater Boston •3 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThis is an excellent restaurant in the theater district. The managers and staff should be applauded as well as the NY Fire dept. when a pipe burst over the door creating a massive waterfall during our dinner service in January. They all sprung into action and had the damage under control in a very short period of time. The food was delicious and the concern from management and staff for us was exceptional. Thank you for a memorable evening.More infoCarmine's - 44th Street - NYCPrice: Moderate• Italian• Theater District•4.6

Our server Kazi was incredibly attentive and played a large part in making our tea time feel special. The tea was fantastic (we tried the mint, lavender, and fruit infusion) as well as the desserts and sandwiches. On top of that, the architecture of the room is breathtaking. I can’t wait to return!More infoThe Palm Court at The Plaza HotelPrice: Very Expensive• American• Midtown East•4.4
