Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Helston

We had great food – absolutely delicious and plenty of it. The pub was relaxed and friendly, and of course it had a beautiful view over the Helford. There was even the added drama of a young couple nearby trying to make their way along a narrow path with a wall on their left, the sea on their right and a swan trying to preen its feathers in front of them. We had a lovely meal and went back 2 nights later to make sure it wasn't a fluke. I will attach a photo which was taken from a not far from the pub

The ambience and staff at Cadgwith Cover were fantastic and we can't wait to dine there again. The Seafood Chowder was especially outstanding. Thank you for a delightful evening.

The food was delicious and everything including the amazing sea view made our anniversary very special. I had the best fish in batter I’ve ever eaten and my husband had the Korean belly pork. The desserts were also delicious and the mixed berry eton mess was just perfect. Thank you staff and chef - highly recommended.

Brilliant meal at the most fantastic location right on the beach at Lusty Glaze! The Pickled Chef himself greeted us and made us welcome with two dogs and explained the specials. However being a vegetarian I was happy with the Garden burger ( tasty ‘homemade’ burger of spicy pulses) and my husband with a classic fish & chips. The fish and chips had both exceptional homemade tartar sauce and a curry sauce! As a treat we had the enormous Dessert Platter - My goodness! Eye popping! Everything bite size from delicious passion fruit cheese cake to dinky doughnuts! Washed down with super IPA and Summer Lease Haze beer so good abit like Hoegaarden. We went in early at 17.00 so we could walk the coastal path back home before it was dark! Thank you we’ll be back!

Absolutely lovely dinner last night. Food, atmosphere, drinks staff all 10/10. A really special evening and you can tell it’s all super fresh ingredients. We LOVED the roasted figs and the artichokes. The meats were amazing, the octopus was absolutely LUSH! So pleased to see it on the menu! Felt like a lovely little cosy place in the heart of some Italian town. This place is a gem! Thanks guys, took us too long to come for dinner and we will be back!
