Best Restaurants for Anniversaries in The Village, Toronto / Ontario

Our experience was perfect from the moment we arrived and were greeted by Michael at the front desk! The restaurant was very busy and full when we arrived. We were celebrating a 75th birthday and the table had birthday confetti spread on it which was a very nice touch. We were offered drinks as soon as we were seated while we waited for our entire party of 10 to arrive. Service was wonderful and although the kitchen was very busy which made food service a bit slower than usual, we were kept up to date by our server as to when each course would arrive. The food was delicious and arrived piping hot which is really great when 10 people all getting their food at the same time. Morton’s is a great choice for celebrating any occasion. We had a wonderful meal and evening. Highly recommend it.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was incredible. The restaurant was warmly lit with a cozy, intimate ambiance that immediately made us feel welcome. As newcomers to the area, we were searching for an authentic Italian restaurant, and this place exceeded all of our expectations. The food was absolutely outstanding. Every dish was perfectly prepared, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Nothing was overly salty or overpowering—just delicious from start to finish. Our server, Joey, was exceptional. He was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about his work. You could tell he truly enjoys what he does, and his excellent service made our experience even more memorable. What also stood out was the level of care from the entire team. Both a male and female manager stopped by our table to check on us and ensure everything was to our satisfaction. That extra attention made us feel valued as guests. Overall, this was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. Amazing food, outstanding service, and a wonderful atmosphere. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic Italian meal and will definitely be returning.

Our server was a younger woman who just starting as a server. Her name was Julia and she was very good…a good sense of humour and always had a smile on her face. Excellent experience. 10/10. Hands down, the best restaurant experience I have had in my lifetime, this far. The views were amazing. The food was delicious. And the service... Top notch. We received a course meal beyond our expectations.
