It had been 2 years since we last dined at Marcel and while our previous visit was good, there are lots of great steak restaurants in Atlanta. Well, in the 2 years since, the experience has improved astronomically. Service: Excellent, personable, knowledgable. Food: Delicious. Delivered to the table at temperature. Terrific taste. Ambiance: Exceptional. Speaks to a special night out, without being fake or stuffy. The food is exceptional and demands a special night out attention to detail and respect by the guests. I am a bit of a steak experience snob, and Marcel has really rung the bell for me - easily capable of unseating some of Atlanta’s finest “old school” steakhouses.
