Best Restaurants for Foodies in Southall

I received a message to confirm my reservation, followed by further correspondence asking for the names of the additional guests for a birthday message, as we were celebrating a double birthday. The evening before our booking, I also sent a message requesting champagne upon arrival. When we arrived at The Ledbury on Saturday, June 6th at 13:15, we entered to find a full dining room that generated a lovely atmosphere and the optimum level of volume. We were warmly greeted and our birthdays were discussed; this immediately felt genuine and not just a matter of course. Once seated, a hook was placed on the table for my bag. Our table was beautifully presented, with our greeting cards already on display. Our champagne was soon served, and we engaged in a great conversation with the sommelier. We then received some canapés before moving onto the langoustines. We actually found ourselves searching for these on the menu, only to realize they were additional, complimentary courses—which were absolutely wonderful! The service was incredible, and although we were fully engaged with the food and flavors from the moment we arrived, the pace of the meal still felt entirely manageable. As the courses continued, the presentation remained standout. As we progressed through the meal, our conversation naturally shifted from the food to more general chat. We engaged at length with Will and Yuri, who are both wonderful people. It truly was a pleasure meeting them, and they really enhanced our experience. The entire restaurant had a friendly, relaxed feel, with the caliber of food and service superseding expectations to truly fulfill its Michelin-starred accreditation. After visiting other establishments within this category, this was by far the best. We came away from the restaurant absolutely ecstatic. Thank you, Brett, and all of the team, for making it such an amazing experience, and for showing such an incredible level of detail, care, and attention to your diners.

This is one of my favourite restaurants. The food is always outstanding, excellent service and great ambiance. Highly recommend.

Not your typical Chinese or Thai restaurant.. wonderfully different flavours in every dish and outstanding service too. Will def be going again.

This is my 2nd visit and again, very enjoyable. Warm greetings from our hostess and our table was spacious...the request to turn the music down slightly because of my augmented hearing was done immediately and did not interfere with our conversation...one of my guests who was sharing with her partner needed her meat cooked further..at the suggestion of our hostess, it was done quickly and without any fuss .highly professional and seamless service...another visit is being planned.
