Best Restaurants for Foodies in Newburyport

We’re new to the area and have visited Buckley’s twice so far. Both experiences have been outstanding. The servers were fantastic, the food was delicious, and the drinks were exceptional. The restaurant itself is beautifully maintained and has a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere. We never felt rushed and were able to truly enjoy our meals. What stood out most to me was how kind, patient, and accommodating everyone was with our children. As a family without nearby relatives to help with childcare, being able to enjoy a meal out with our kids and feel genuinely welcomed means a lot. Buckley’s may very well become our new weekly spot!

Always wanted to try this restaurant and finally snagged a 5pm dinner reservation. Amazing food, cannot say enough. Prix-fixe menu on the night we were there, which works well because limiting the number of dishes the kitchen has to produce lets them focus on the details. Lovely flavors in every dish, very adventurous menu. Each plate had multiple exquisite bites. Seamless service.

Henrietta's Table is outstanding. Fresh, locally-sourced vegetables, quality fish, poultry and meats, scrumptious desserts: nothing less than superb. Service is thorough yet still unobtrusive. The ambience feels natural, not trying too hard to be trendy. Most of our group had not seen each other for many years and the relatively relaxed atmosphere allowed conversation to flow effortlessly. It's an impressive place to take anyone who is able to appreciate good cooking and quality ingredients. And you have never seen anything like the Sunday Brunch! Always delicious; always worth it.
