We went for my birthday dinner and Catania went above and beyond with customized menus saying “happy birthday, Caroline! “ on them. We sat at the high tops facing to 10/10 sunset. Our favorite bites including the lamb ribs, the crispy octopus and the nduja pizza, we also had the duck orchiette and the arancini which were also top tier! I was in Italy last week and am in La Jolla this week. The clams and spaghetti are Alfio's family recipe. The best! The steaks were incredibly tender, and the flatbread pizzas were amazing. We also tried the scallops and lobster, and both were delicious. The truffle risotto was seriously addicting — definitely one of our favorites of the night! The desserts were another highlight. They had a great variety to choose from, and everything we tried was very good. A special shoutout to our server, London, who was the best! She was so friendly, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of throughout our entire meal. She really made our first experience at Seasons 52 even better.
