We had a lovely anniversary meal at the restaurant. The table wasn’t quite ready on arrival so we had drinks at the bar which was a nice place to sit. It was very busy, lots of groups of ladies having afternoon tea but it quietened down during the time we were there, the atmosphere was really nice. Our meals were delicious, and we were treated to a brownie at the end for our anniversary which was a nice touch. The most important part to us was that we didn’t feel rushed, we had a lovely few hours together and the staff were very attentive but not over the top.

We had a delicious meal. The staff were great. There was some nice specials on the menu and their small plate menu is great if you don’t want a big meal. The steak was quite expensive but cooked to perfection as were the chips. The mushroom risotto was also delicious. It’s us quite brightly lit inside but still a nice ambiance
