Best Restaurants for Afternoon Tea in Woodley

We were a party of 8 ladies for afternoon tea, could not fault the hotel, lovely setting overlooking the river, staff were very helpful.

I took my mum for afternoon tea to celebrate her name day. We’d been to Fairmont Windsor Park for dinner before and had wanted to try their afternoon tea for a while too. The service and food were fantastic. The staff were attentive and explained each element of the afternoon tea beautifully. Overall, my mum and I were incredibly happy with the experience. The ambience, with the pianist playing, made it even more special, much better than just having background music playing.

Lovely cream tea. Staff very friendly and attentive. Good selection of teas. Scones lovely, fresh and warm. Interesting sandwich selection including a coronation chicken wrap. The sweet options were also varied - the strawberry gel on shortbread - absolutely delicious.

We were sat near a wall that was stained with wine which was quite off putting. The sandwiches were a bit dry and lacked filling Cakes and scones were lovely
