Best Restaurants with Bar Seating in The Village

Took my Scottish wife to Restaurant Bruce before going to the Beanfield Theatre. Sat at the bar and talked to the Barman who also knew everything about the food as well as the Scotch. Food was excellent, would recommend and hope to return the next time we are in Montreal.

This restaurant never disappoints. I have been going with my husband since it opened, and the food and service are consistently outstanding. The smoked mackerel rillettes, and tuna hamachi are a must try. The ceviche was one of the best things I have eaten in a long time. Steven and Jean-Francois were exceptional. Thank you all for your flawless food, service and the consistent experience.

It was wonderful, delicious and the service was impeccable. The best of all though, was the fact that the music was not too loud and we could have a normal conversation. That was enough for us to want to go back soon and often. MC

We enjoyed our lunch in this restaurant located in an elegant historic building. The service and ambience were top notch. The Table d'hote lunch menu was a very good value and the food delicious. Highly recommend it
