What a great place for a “nice” dinner. Service was attentive and not distracting plus the food was fabulous! Special fish and venison cooked perfectly. Wine selection was excellent and we had a great time! Tabard is already on our next trip return to list!

This restaurant exceeded all expectations. 100% Italian, never ordered lasagna anywhere ever because my mother’s is so epic. And any bites I’ve taken elsewhere could not hold a candle to it. But I read that this was supposed to be incredible. I was hesitant but the waiter said, I would not be disappointed. He then recommended the squid ink gnocchi as an appetizer and it was honestly one of the best things I’d eaten before a main course. So, my hopes were lifted for the lasagna and I have to say, this was phenomenal. It was cooked to perfection, firm, layered deliciousness. Had a little crunch on the edges and the béchamel cheese complemented the mozzarella. I thought I would miss the ricotta but did not—it was creamy and more flavorful. My wife ordered the branzino and swears it was the best she’s ever had. This has given me faith after 35 years living in the DMZ we found a truly incredible Italian restaurant that is every bit as good as our favorite restaurants in NYC. I can’t believe it’s not been on our radar but will be a destination for our celebration meals from now on. 5 stars. Don’t miss it. The portions are plentiful and are easily shareable. Prices are very fare, and they have a reasonable corkage fee with a decent selection of cocktails and wines. Service was also excellent.

Overall experience was great! Service was welcoming and professional. This was our second time coming here. We came around noon so the vibe was quiet & relaxing. We loved the sea bass and the duck entrees. The bread rolls are amazing especially dipped in their blend of olive oil, Italian seasoning and parmesan cheese mix. Love the atmosphere and interior design as always. Great for a date night.

Great lunch spot after an event! We were a large group with young kids (which can feel like a headache) but they didn’t make us feel like an inconvenience at all! Food was delicious! Big portions. Would definitely come back again!
