Best Restaurants with a Fireplace in Sorrento Valley

We love to dine outside, up front to listen to Dave Scott and Bobby Lanza play and sing on Thursday nights. Our waiter Diego was superb and we had a wonderful meal, as always. Great Girls Night out!

We had a lovely dinner sitting in the bar area of the Pony Room. This is not an expensive experience however it is in a lovely resort, and the food is quite nicely done. A party of three shared several dishes, including the brussels sprouts, Lobster nachos, buffalo chicken bites and guacamole. I particularly recommend the buffalo chicken bites. A great combination of spice and sweetness. Our server Harvey was excellent. Very kind and attentive.

The setup was great- not all tables filled at different times allowed for a more relaxed environment. There was no rush to have us depart after finishing our meal. Food was terrific, and service was very friendly and attentive. The $260 per plate makes this a one time event but worth it on that basis.

The food was great. Loved the scallop tartare and the salmon. Dessert awesome, The pumpkin tart had the right amount of sweetness and the edible pea flowers were the perfect edible decor for the tartini. Turkey, cranberry sause thanksgiving meal was so yummy . Everything we ordered was very delicious and the ambience so relaxing.Our server went above and beyond and encouraged us to have a stroll around the resort after a leisurely lunch. Kids loved watching the horses inside the stable. We enjoyed the walk after the delicious food.

It was a gorgeous setting and wonderful place for a nice birthday celebration. All was great at the restaurant but they did not have my open table reservation. I showed them my confirmation and calendar but some how the restaurant never got it.
