Best Restaurants with a Vibrant Bar Scene in Town and Country

This was our first time dining at Brasserie by Niche, after reading about it numerous times on Ian Froeb’s STL 100: The Best St. Louis Restaurants list. Oh my, what a delightful surprise! The service and food were to die for. Alexis P. took great care of us, answering our questions and keeping a watchful eye but never hovering. Every dish was perfectly paced and served at the correct temperature. Bread was warm with delicious butter, salad was chilled and not overpowered by too much dressing, and main entrees were hot and oh so good with wonderful jus de viande. I had the braised beef, my husband had the roasted chicken, and we shared the chocolate mousse. He had a Bloody Mary (proclaimed as one of the best!) and I had my standard Shirley Temple with a splash of orange juice. When dining at a new restaurant, we always end the meal by asking each other, "Would you eat here again?" The answer for Brasserie by Niche was a resounding YES, YES, YES!

One of the few restaurants in the area that I can rely on for special occasions.

We celebrated a graduation. The staff was so sweet to decorate the table, congratulate our grad and give her a special treat. Amazing all around!

Outstanding experience for 7 friends. We dined out on the patio, and it was a gorgeous night. Management took care of us with the sun, and the service and food were exceptional!
