- SShanekaAtlanta •2 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoI actually like this place! The waitress was nice, the ambience was well lit. The food was good with the exception of few things. Starters: Caeser Salad was 10 -Well seasoned lots of cheese and great greens. Bread service: Cornbread was good 7, the milk bread was ok but the butter needed more honey. Trout balls- They were good -8 Entree- Scallops 20 out of 10!!! So good the best item we had! Well seasoned, salmon roe was a good addition for umami flavor and the asparagus was good texture and smokey. Mushroom Risotto, it was ok but not creamy enough nor seasoned. Desserts - Chai Panacotta was 0 out of 10 tastes like black licorice enough said. Bread pudding was dry. All in all pretty good!More infoLincoln Street Kitchen & Cocktails$$$$• Contemporary American• Southend•4.2

- EErnieChicago / Illinois •8 reviews5.0Dined on 28 Sept 2026I searched for a unique place for lunch. I got exactly what I asked for and more. What an experience in the outdoor seating, nature all around you with bamboo, cedar trees (150 years) and beautiful blue sky. When we walked in Grace greeted us and asked about our birthday celebration. That impressed me as I had done that at another restaurant, it was never mentioned. Grace asked us a few questions about my birthday and how we came to find Goodyear restaurant. I mentioned my hunting of unique places to eat (no chain restaurants). We found a great place to have lunch. I mentioned the nature setting of cedar trees. It was massive. Greg, the manager came over talked a bit about the trees. Greg was attentive in answering questions. The menu was simple, but complex dishes. Two of our group had the fish of the day meal, another had The Chief Burger and I had the portobella pastrami meal. I took a risk on this meal as I’m a burger guy. I was quite surprised and impressed with the sandwich. I didn’t miss the meat part of the meal. Sister-in-law had a mimosa and asked if the lavender lemonade could be added to the drink, beautiful purple color. I would suggest adding it to your mimosa drink list. Grace came over to ask if we wanted dessert, at first we were like no. I’m celebrating 60 years and happy to be alive after my transplant 2 years ago. I asked what desserts they had, Grace talked about Peach Cobbler and then she mentioned Strawberry Cornbread Cake. I had never had that dessert before. We ordered one for the table to share. It was not a heavy dessert the right sweetness. After you leave a restaurant some things stay in your memory of I want that again and again! Well the PORTABELLO MUSHROOM REUBEN "pastrami," vegan smoked gouda, saeurkraut, 1K dressing, on rye and Strawberry Cornbread Cake. Will always be on my palate of dishes I want again. Thank you Grace and Greg for taking good care of our first time, want be our last time.More infoThe Goodyear House$$$$• Southern• NODA•4.3
