Sherwin Jacobs heads the kitchen and delivers quality, fresh, local produce, much of which is grown in the no-dig garden and onsite polytunnel. Feast over fire events, pop-up BBQs and supper club events litter the calendar. The food is award-winning - Best Premium Food, Good Food Guide, Food Made Good Award, 2 star rosette kitchen etc. Private dining is available across several charismatic rooms in the main house - The Old Kitchen, The Victorian Room and The Oak Room. I don't know this building was open to the public. It has great views and great atmosphere. I went to listen to a local band The Groove Continuum, a two piece duo. Their music was superb and fantastic atmosphere, looking forward to going and seeing them again

The perfect place for a 90th Birthday celebration. Highly recommended. Nice setting with space between tables and excellent service. The staff were helpful and considerate. An excellent menu and vegetables mostly as side dishes was appreciated. We could help ourselves to as much or as little as we wished. [The elderly cannot cope with a mountain of vegetables arriving on their plates.}

First time here for Sunday lunch following a recommendation. The plate was filled with food and was really well cooked and presented. Staff all really friendly and helpful. Will be back!!
