Staff were very pleasant. New menu from previous visit with excellent choice of starters. A good selection of main dishes. The food was very nice including a carrot cake cheesecake! Drinks are reasonably priced compared to other venues. Only criticism, I felt the staff could have kept a closer eye on the tables in case further drinks ect required. We look forward to another visit.

We went for a roast dinner. Food was amazing so much for your money and the service was brilliant. Don’t know what her name was but the young girl who was seeing to us was extremely polite and couldn’t do more for you. Five stars all round

Yet another outstanding culinary experience at 1812. Superb food and attentive service in an intimate and relaxing setting. We cannot reccomend this restaurant highly enough. We have eaten at a number of Michelin Star restaurants and 1812 is of equal or better quality. Thank you for another special and memorable evening.

Was a lovely bottomless brunch. Staff was great and made sure our glasses was never empty. Would definitely go again! Also to mention the dj was brilliant :)

We booked as usual in advance & let them know about my intolerance so before we arrived they had checked all the menu to see what I could have. This was brilliant service & something I have experienced on very few occasions even in top restaurants. Service was brilliant & friendly throughout. Food excellent, tasty, delicious & well cooked. We had no room for desert. I will give it 5 stars all round.

Enjoyed the Sunday roast and the ambience sitting in the beer garden on a lovely day. Price is on the higher side but this is a tourist town in high season so broadly as expected. Tip, get there early as the place suddenly filled at 1pm with a queue for food orders. Over all, a good experience.
