- CChristinaToronto / Ontario •2 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoThank you Chef Dan for a wonderful culinary experience. The 4-course set menu was wonderful, especially the fresh Lobster Ravioli in Carrot Butter Sauce & the elegant adaptation of Smores for dessert. They truly belong on your new summer menu. As someone who has been in the hospitality industry for over 40-years & even trained chefs, I can equivocally say that the Post House Restaurant is ready for a Michelin Star. The Tomato Water Soup with 5 different herbs, which my son & I tasted in the summer of 2024 when we stayed at Post House, was beyond creative & refreshing. As the lone diner in the restaurant's screened verandah on June 3rd, I felt like a princess, being served by Chef Dan himself & discussing our industry. I so love the setting too: overlooking the firepit, dock & lake at a real Muskokan resort, listening to loons.More infoHaliburton Post House$$$$• International• Minden•4.9

- DDianeToronto / Ontario •5 reviews5.0Dined on 28 May 2026Silver Birch is a quaint restaurant located in Severn Township. We were a party of six and we were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived. Our server was professional and gave us time to chat before taking our orders. The food is outstanding. Five star restaurant quality. It was an evening of good friends and fine dining. Highly recommend Silver Burch. We will definitely be back!More infosilver birch$$$$• Contemporary Canadian• Orillia•4.9
- JJohnEdmonton / Northern Alberta •10 reviews5.0Dined on 23 Sept 2025Last night’s supper at Portside was 5-star on any system. The food, service and ambiance were spectacularly good in relation to other Muskoka restaurants we have visited this year. It is a pity for locals that they are soon closing for this season. We have had some history of experience at this location, going back to our first time when it was Loondocks. The first night was like last night, maybe even better, but then the restaurant located in this excellent location delivered increasingly shabby experience IMO … so much so, that we stopped going when we were here at our cottage. Noting a change in name and decor (we did not come E in 2024), we decided to try it again. Whomever is running the show now has really turned things around brilliantly. MANY KUDOS! Given opportunity, we will be back and once again we’ll be recommending the place enthusiastically to others.More infoPortside Fusion$$$$• Global, International• Port Carling•4.4
