La Petite Grocery was absolutely phenomenal! I honestly can’t say enough wonderful things about the food. We had the shrimp and grits and the burger, and both were out of this world! Every single bite was absolutely delicious. I could seriously eat those shrimp and grits every day and never get tired of them! The food was so incredibly good that it’s hard to even put into words just how amazing it was. The service was excellent, and everyone was so warm, friendly, and welcoming. From beginning to end, it was such a wonderful dining experience. I only wish we lived closer so we could come back again and again! La Petite Grocery was definitely one of the highlights of our New Orleans trip, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable meal!

Always a “must dine” in New Orleans! Vibrant vibe, creative menu and deliciously executed! Love the mix of cuisines that pique every tastebud! And Sophina and her staff are all super friendly and welcoming. You can tell this is a restaurant planned and run by the owners who are there every day, alongside their staff. Making sure every detail is paid attention to. YUM!

Our server was extremely knowledgeable about all items on the menu. Her advice was perfect. Best fettuccine was the best tasting I ever had. We had the butter buzz (I think that was the name) and it was amazing.

This was my first time here. It was really busy, which meant even with a reservation it took a while before I was sat. I was solo this evening, so I ended up giving up my table to allow a couple to sit and just sat at the bar. It took a while before the server came to me, and I ended up getting a menu from the person that I sat next to at the bar. When the server finally did come, I ordered the fresh-squeezed lemonade, gumbo dumplings, and the kimchi lobster pasta (modified to include shrimp). First and foremost, everything tasted amazing! The lemonade was fresh and not overly sweet. The gumbo dumplings are definitely something I’m getting the next time I visit; so flavorful! The kimchi lobster pasta was really seasoned and not too heavy despite it being a cream-based sauce. The only negatives were the wait and noise level, as both were a bit excessive. As previously stated, I definitely will return again the next time I’m in the city.
