WOW Five stars all the way. I rarely hand out fives, but the whole experience was worth the trip down from Mission Beach. Great staff, great food, great service, homey atmosphere. WE split a tricolor salad, which was small, but spectacular in every bite,. Beware it is spicy. Mushroom flan was an eye opener. Bolognese was just fine. A lovely evening.

The food was fantastic, and the service was so great! The only reason For 4/5 stars is the noise level in the main inside dining was so loud. The piano player really effects the ability to converse around the table. Sitting outside was the perfect remedy and really enjoyable!

this really is a hidden gem in the heart of the Gaslamp. If you didn't know it was there you would walk right by, in fact the first time we went we walked right past it. But, it is so worth it when you get up top the pool deck, the bar space is lovely and the ambience is fantastic. The menu is great and the drinks specials are awesome. Above the hustle and bustle of the busy street below, you would never know that just one floor down was 5th St. I recommend this spot for a great chill space to enjoy with frineds.
