Excellent meal for 5. Some got brunch and others got savory (tacos). Maybe a smidge pricier than I expected but good quality and friendly service.

Great restaurant! Huge portions, delicious food, and we loved the physical space; very cool, clean and unblemished, with touches of 1950's memorabilia on the walls. The service was very friendly as were the other patrons in the restaurant during our visit. Great experience and we will be back!

In a city where you cannot find a bad meal, this is my longtime favorite! Location, menu, quality of the Food, and Service all top-notch. Actually not as expensive as some of his other venues like Fore Street and Scales and every bit as good. Hopefully Street And Company lasts forever. go and enjoy!

We had a great dinner at the Tavern at the Hawthorne Hotel. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the historic setting of the Hawthorne makes it a particularly enjoyable place to have a meal while visiting Salem. Our only minor criticism was that, toward the end of the meal, we felt a little rushed. It seemed like there was some pressure to finish up so the table could be turned for the next guests. Nothing was ever said directly, and the service was still friendly, but it did take away slightly from what otherwise would have been a completely relaxed dining experience. Overall, though, we really enjoyed the Tavern and would absolutely recommend it. Great food, great atmosphere, and a wonderful spot to experience a little of Salem’s historic charm.
