Aloha, we would like to recognize Elliott, our server upstairs at 38. Our party had seven people, and Elliott was very knowledgeable and consistently engaged with everyone. He took the time to answer all of our questions clearly and thoughtfully. He also went out of his way to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. His personable and professional service made our experience truly memorable.

53 by the Sea is definitely a nice romantic spot for date night or a celebration. Service was awesome and the staff was really nice. It comes with a great view of Diamond Head. If you sit inside, you do get the benefit of AC which helps for hot or humid days. Otherwise, outdoor seating is really nice as well. It is definitely fine dining and the prices aren’t too bad when you compare it to similar places.

We enjoyed the drinks so we came back for dinner. So glad we did! I had the salmon and my husband had the ribs. The salmon was perfectly done, slight crust on the outside and very moist on the inside. The sauce was amazing. My husband’s ribs were fall off the bone tender and the guava glaze was delicious. Highly recommend!
