- JJohnSan Diego •8 reviews4.0Dined 4 days agoGreat location and ambiance. I have dined here previously with positive results. This time the Calamari was not very good and very stringy. We did not finish the Calamari as it was not appetiziing. The fish and chips were also disappointing due to the quite small fish portions. Prices are overpriced for the lack of quality food delivered during this visit. On a positive note, our server Justin was very good. I shared my concerns about the calamari with Justin. He was very courteous and apologetic however there was no offer to drop the cost of this unsavory appetizer from the bill. All in all, a nice place for drinks at sunset. I doubt I'll be back...More infoEdgewater GrillPrice: Moderate• American• Downtown•4.4

We really enjoyed sitting outside on the water under the heaters. Would definitely go back.More infoBrigantine at Portside PierPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Downtown•4.7
- TTheresavipSan Diego •6 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 28, 2024Visited for Thanksgiving, they had a special menu designed for the holiday. Everything was very good and service was great. The menu was an interesting take on traditional turkey dinner and was very tasty. The grilled filet mignon was really done nicely and the sauce was very good. The Gruyère scalloped potatoes were a surprise with a spicy kick. The crunchy pumpkin desert was a pleasant way to end the meal. Enjoyed Roy’s Hawaiian Martini which was like a low calorie pina colada but that soaked pineapple sliced had a kick! And the Argentinian Malbec was very smooth and a nice addition for dinner. Our server, Oscar, was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and the restaurant’s history. And a beautiful view of the San Diego bay at sunset.More infoRoy's San Diego WaterfrontPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Downtown•4.4
