The cod special excellent and the sticky toffee pudding the best I’ve ever had. The steak pie was chosen by both husbands and was also delicious - perfect pastry and generous filling. The service was lovely - friendly, helpful and witty from arrival to the time we left and we were served by at least 6 different people. We’d never been before and felt very welcome.
