Best Historic Restaurants in Port Wentworth

Amazing experience. Cami was our server and was extremely on point the whole time. We loved our ricotta toast, salad, and octopus appetizers. The crispy eggplant entree was true to its name (crispy) and so delicious. And we enjoyed a great dessert with cocktails and mocktails. We came four years ago, it was memorable then, and still the same today. Great place!

Pecan chicken is the best in town. Always a pleasure to eat here!

We had such a great girl dinner! The host Stephanie was ready to receive us and led us straight to our table on the roof. The flowers on the table were refreshing. The atmosphere was perfect. And our server Stevie was amazing. He was very attentive and knowledgeable. He recommended the best dishes. We were beyond pleased with our visit.

Our first time going to 1790 and it won’t be our last! It was fantastic! Everything from our attentive server, Anthony to our delicious meals. My husband and I started with the mussels. Probably the most tasteful mussels I’ve ever had! Next we both got a salad. He got a Caesar and I got the 1790 salad, both were yummy! For dinner I ordered the NY strip, absolute perfection! My husband ordered the lobster gnocchi, he loved them. I would have had a hard time if that was my meal. Even though the sauce was lite and delicious, the gnocchi was a bit heavy for me. Unfortunately we didn’t have room for dessert. They also had a piano player playing music. It was all a delight! Can’t wait to return!
