This was such a memorable experience. Nuri is outstanding. Dallas has lots of amazing steakhouses but Nuri is in a class of its own. They put an entirely unique spin on every dish. Starting with the bread service- even the bread and butter have a completely different flavor profile with added Asian ingredients. Our server, Gabe, provided such intuitive, professional service. He knew it was our group’s first visit and gave us two complimentary appetizers to start our meal. What a treat! The wagyu truffle dumplings were delicious. The seared beef carpaccio was beyond compare. The hamachi crudo and crab cake were also top tier. We each had a different cut of steak and each one was amazing. You definitely can’t pass on the kimchi fried rice or the brussel sprouts for side dishes. Insanely delicious! Finally rounding out an unmatched meal, we finished with the pecan pie.

It was out first time, and what an experience! At first, we weren’t too happy that the only table available was at 5 PM, but later we understood why. The restaurant gets pretty busy, and reservations are definitely a must. The building itself is historic, and you can really see the evolution of the place. Garage parking is available in the back of the property, but they also offer complimentary valet parking, which is a nice touch. The restaurant is divided into two sections, “Heaven” and “Hell,” with one being brighter and more brightly lit than the other. We were seated in Heaven, and honestly, it really did feel like our entire experience was in heaven. Justin took care of us and did an excellent job explaining the menu. We started with the Prime Beef Carpaccio with horseradish and Calabrian chili, followed by the Beets and Burrata with kumquats and rosemary cashew. For our entrée, we ordered the 12 oz. Texas Wagyu New York Strip with Sauce au Poivre, accompanied by roasted broccolini. We finished with the Passionfruit Entremet with pistachio and coconut, along with freshly brewed coffee. Everything was incredibly savory, with a great balance of flavors and textures. Each course felt thoughtfully prepared, and nothing overwhelmed the other ingredients. From the music and décor to the service and, of course, the food, you can tell they go the extra mile when it comes to the details. Every part of the experience felt intentional and well executed. Our entire experience was phenomenal. Definitely coming back! Well done!
