Best Hot Spot Restaurants in Wrigleyville

Kate and I had a truly wonderful anniversary dinner at Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab. What impressed me most was how personal the experience felt, particularly considering how incredibly busy the restaurant was. Even on a Sunday evening, the dining room was packed, yet from the moment we arrived we felt genuinely looked after. We were seated on time at a wonderful table, the team was aware that we were celebrating our anniversary, and seemingly everyone who came to our table took a moment to congratulate us. That level of recognition and attention in a restaurant serving several hundred guests in an evening is extremely impressive. The atmosphere was fantastic — classic, old-school Chicago in the best possible way, from the energy of the room to the music and overall character of the restaurant. Our server was excellent, and the entire service team took very good care of us. In a restaurant operating at this kind of volume, service may naturally be a little less formal or choreographed at moments than in a small fine-dining room, but that is hardly a criticism. What matters is that the service was attentive, warm, efficient and personal throughout the evening. And, of course, the food was outstanding. From the maître d’ and host team who welcomed us and gave us such a great table, to our server and everyone who looked after us throughout dinner, the entire team made our anniversary feel special. Joe’s is certainly not an inexpensive evening out, but based on the quality of the food, the atmosphere and, most importantly, the way we were treated, it was absolutely worth it. Thank you to the entire team for giving Kate and me such a memorable anniversary evening. We will remember it very fondly.

My wife and I had an Amazing experience at the chef’s table! Very intimate setting overlooking the kitchen line. The pre-select meal was maybe the best flavor journey I’ve ever been on as each dish was a 10/10. Service was amazing as well and very nice having your own private corner of the restaurant. Would highly recommend to any foodie and open minded taste bud people.

Our waitress Rachel was great, attentive and made good wine selections. Food was good and they did a great job splitting the meals. Only complaint was our fries were overcooked. Lol

This is definitely an asset to the Lincoln Park food scene. The restaurant is lovely and the patio is gorgeous. We ordered 9 dishes for a party of 5 (2 were mains) and there was not one mediocre dish. Every thing we ordered was flavorful, delish and a decent portion size. Service was good and we will definitely be back.

This is such a classic restaurant in Chicago. I had dined there years ago and was amazed by the food and ambiance. My husband and I visited recently hoping for the same feeling and were very pleasantly surprised. The interior is just as special as it was, the food is amazing and now I can really appreciate the service. I'd highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for. special night out. It's as good as it ever was!
