Social Corner food is so good. The highest quality ingredients perfectly prepared every time. You pay a little extra compared to the chain restaurants but so worth it. Feels like eating in Europe.

Adrianne and the entire Team at Minami were wonderful! Minami was gracious to change our table, and Adrianne is a wonderful server, who described dishes and cocktails, timed out the dishes, and provided great conversation. The dishes — such as the scallops — are delicious, and the sushi is excellent, as usual. Thank you!

First trip to Vancouver and we were looking for a seafood/steakhouse and found Joe Fortes. Every aspect of our time in the restaurant was excellent. The restaurant ambience was perfect for a cooler, rainy night. We were warmly greeted at the door and when we arrived 30 minutes early, they offered us a seat at the bar for cocktails. The bartender was prompt and answered all questions. Both of our drinks were made perfectly and we were happy with his suggestions. Upon being seated for our table the hostess showed us all the menus and we were quickly greeted by our waiter Brian. Throughout our dinner he was witty, friendly and attentive. He recommended the halibut cheeks and I took him up on it. The food came hot and delicious and did not disappoint. My husband’s filet was phenomenal, cooked perfectly and tender to the bite. He commented it was the best steak he has had in a long while. The halibut cheeks were wonderful. Flavorful, and the jasmine rice (as Brian suggested) was a perfect pairing. The night was an win all around. Go, celebrate, have a meal where you won’t be disappointed!!! One last thing, this restaurant is run exceptionally well. The staff is moving all the time, everyone helps each other out and the service is a reflection of it. Stellar service!

Another fabulous meal at the Med Grill! The signature seafood crepe is my favorite and of course the sticky toffee pudding. I fondly remember the Med Grill location on Fort Street...was wonderful and closer to downtown Victoria. I truly wish there was one closer to where we live in the downtown area, James Bay or Fairfield.

An all round excellent experience from the underground parking to the elevator to the lobby right outside the restaurant to the friendly and helpful staff and of course excellent food !! The views of the inner harbour from every table were a bonus ! We will certainly come here again !!!
