Best Restaurants for Spicy Food in South Mountain

Always a great dining experience with Latha. The old fashioned is top tier, the oxtail is delicious and staff are always super friendly and ensure a great experience. Can’t recommend this place enough to anyone. Great for date night spot, casual meals and anything in between.

This was my second time at Espiritu, but my first time having dinner. I initially discovered the place for cocktail hour and appetizers after a comedy show and instantly fell in love with the vibrant ambiance, delicious drinks, and tasty small bites. That great experience convinced me to return to try their dinner menu, and I'm glad I did! We started off with two zero-proof piña coladas, which were vibrant and tasted wonderful, and the queso fundido appetizer was absolutely delicious. For entrées, we had the papas tacos and the sticky pork belly. The papas tacos were excellent, and while the sticky pork belly was good, it wasn't very sticky and was served more like large pieces of steak instead of being cut into chunks and coated in sauce. For dessert, the key lime pie was fantastic. A special shout-out to our server, Cori, who was fantastic and very attentive throughout the night!

My fiancée and I waited two months for our reservation, and it was well worth it. The restaurant is small but full of character and charm. The food was incredible, the service was outstanding, and the menu offers amazing options from both land and sea. We left impressed and can’t wait to come back.

We had some last-minute group reservations that needed to be accommodated, and Blanco Cocina + Cantina was able to assist. Their $50++ pp group menu is an excellent deal if you're looking to keep to a budget.
