Feng Shang Princess Floating Restaurant
This is such a lovely peaceful environment to have a slap up Chinese meal. Great food and cocktails and the service was excellent
Nice food, mains were delicious. Restaurant rather tired and dated. Swift service- the duck pancakes came immediately so must be cooked beforehand. Not somewhere you’d linger. Wines rather pricey-especially with 12.5% on top.
We ordered the crispy chilli beef which had no beef but fried batter that was soaked in syrup and very sweet. The salmon was a tiny piece of salmon and just had teriyaki sauce poured over it. No flavour whatsoever. Was extremely disappointed as it was expensive and the food was below average. I still left hungry and my stomach was hurting that same evening after my food and I felt very sick the whole night.
This is how lemon chicken should be! Perfection. The dim sum was very good as well. Highly recommend.
This restaurant lived up to our expectations. The food was spectacular and the customer service was top notch. I would definitely recommend.
Really pleasant lunch. Food was overall very good (some dishes better than others) and service particularly attentive and kind. Kid friendly
Food was excellent, service slow and I was presented with and paid the wrong bill. I have to circle back to sort this out.
It was a nice experience dining on the boat but we will not return. The food was fine but it felt expensive compared to what we pay in china town for the same quality, especially a fruit juice for the children at nearly £5 each. My husband also had a small fly in both his lagers.
We had a wonderful family meal here to celebrate grandsons birthday. The people there could not have been nicer. Fantastic atmosphere and setting. He loved it. We loved it. Decided it will be a tradition!
had a fantastic evening there
Amazing food... the calamari, the peking duck, Singapore noodles.... the best I’ve tasted.
The service was very good. All staff very attentive & helpful.
I’ll go back again
Rushed us to eat even though our booking was made for 10:30
I’m not even sure the food was fresh.
Dear Jason Thank you so much for your visit last Sunday. Firstly, we can assure you that the bad smell you experienced got nothing to do with our food but emanated from the canal water which we're currently working with the Authority to resolve by dredging the area and we try to do it asap. Secondly, we're sincerely sorry to make you feel that our service is rush. To find more info about our opening hours please kindly go to our official website: fengshang.co.uk Feng Shang Princess
Quiet and atmospheric retreat on the edge of Regent’s Park. Loved it !
I love starters and wasabi prawns are just unbelievable tasty with along soft shell crab. Over all my night was great and I will return to try more food next time.
A beautiful restaurant with delicious food, definitely a great pick for date night! I highly recommend the Feng Shang Platter of your fond of seafood, very pretty the way it was presented and tasted as good as it looked! Service was fast and the staff were very attentive, we had a lovely time and would definitely recommend!
The location is wunderfull but the food is sorry less than average. We were 4 Adults and one Teen and we all had different meals. Our comon opinion is: go there enjoy the outstanding location, but do not expect a lot about the quality of the food.
Unreasonably priced takeaway food in unique setting.
The restaurant is unfortunately run down, crowded and if you are sat by the kitchen, it’s not very relaxing
Food was not great, beef was full of fat and gristle and had to send it back. Was overcharged on bill for a whiskey I never had as waitress got this confused with an aperitif but this was rectified. Staff were courteous and helpful.
Apart from being over charged accidentally, the food was lovely and I would definitively visit again!
Very busy due to Mother’s Day, and an event was happening downstairs so it was very noisy. At times I felt as though the waitress was rushing to get us out, so they could clear the table for the next guests. However the food was great and i would definitely return when it’s less busy!
The food was very good, but I'd have to say it was overpriced, as were the cocktails. I've had better food in Chinatown that was half the price of here. I guess you are paying for the location.
Mothers Day lunch.
Every dish was delicious.
Best Chinese food by far
Lovely food. Lovely staff.
Location is okay but the concept of a floating restaurant isn’t quite as romantic as it initially sounds. Static boat basically.
Loved it food fabulous but the cocktails were exquisite
It was my first time eating here and I can confidently say I will be going back in the future! The food was full of flavour and the portion sizes were perfect and the price was even better! Staff were very friendly and tentative. Thank you for a great evening.
Toddler sized portions for mayfair prices , not friendly and was rushing us out of our seats even though we booked .
Bery poor quality food .
really good food and lovely ambiance, only thing is the service charge is quite expensive (ours was £15) and there’s a bit of an issue if you try and take it off, apart from that would defo recommend!
Myself and 3 friends had an absolutely lovely meal here! We were blown away by the exterior and interior, beautifully decorated and very unique. The staff were so friendly and attentive, but no overly-so. We had the set menu A - which was insanely good value! Extremely generous portions - we struggled to finish it all! Would recommend the beef in black bean sauce - sublime.
Will definitely be re-visiting with my partner and would recommend you make a trip if you're in Camden, as it is only a short 10minute walk along the river from Camden Town station.
Excellent service and such a friendly / attentive waiter!
Food at this restaurant was absolutely divine and the service was faultless. I was especially impressed at the end of the meal, when my elderly grandmother and I were allowed to wait for 20 minutes at our table for a taxi to arrive, even though it was beginning to get busy. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Good food, nice atmosphere, poor service in that they just weren’t really attentive at all.
Really friendly and kind staff! Food was lovely too
I enjoyed the ambiance and the setting of the restaurant, it was quiet and secluded although it might have been the time of day. We were a little late in our reservation however they were very accommodating.
In terms of service originally we walked in and had to run around the restaurant trying to find someone to let them know of our arrival we could not find anyone on the first and ground floor but after a little wait someone arrived from the back. They seated us down and everything was well, the gentleman that was helping serve us was so pleasant and lovely however the female serving us had a very hostile aura especially towards my partner, he felt very uncomfortable as she kept looking at him throughout with hostility and seriousness and I noticed it too and it was just after he requested very politely whether it may be possible to get a slice of lemon with his drink.
If it was an inconvenience we apologise but it could have been relayed, she kept clanging our plates and although it seemed a good thing that as soon as we would be on our last morsel of the appetisers or main she was at the table ready to take the plates very roughly and clanging them, it got to the point where she gave me a fresh plate for the main but in her hurry she took that away and we had to request the gentleman for my plate or for my cutlery as he was very pleasant and she was quite intimidating.
The food came quickly and was pleasant but the overall experience left us feeling a little uncomfortable and it was supposed to be a birthday dinner.
Overall a very good experience. We had one of the set menus which gave the opportunity to taste a number of dishes. The duck pancakes were particularly good. Service was efficient and friendly and there was a good atmosphere. It's a bit pricey but you are paying for the experience so I suppose it's to be expected
I saw this restaurant in a magazine and put it on my bucket list. So pleased we went and would definitely visit again. The food was delicious, the service friendly, and the venue was gorgeous, Thankyou so much for a lovely afternoon!
