Over cooked Bone-in Filet...shame!
Restaurant empty on a Friday night...
We went to celebrate our grandson's graduation and we were very pleased with everything. Unfortunately there was a rehearsal dinner going on that was a bit noisy and the entertainment in the lounge was a bit much but in between all that the waiter, Chris was outstanding and the food never disappoints.
Place was amazing. Great food and outstanding service. Would recommend and come back for sure.
The entrance way floor was extremely sticky and for the entire time I was there my shoes continued to stick to the floor when I walked. Other than that everything was very nice. The sticky floor was annoying though.
Wait staff was wonderful. Food was great!
Great food as always, service was amazing as well
Food and service were great !
Great food, atmosphere and service. To top it off, live jazz singer for entertainment! Great time. Would love to see her again.
Fleming’s has a very good value for their tomahawk Tuesday’s. Very few other places in Boston will get you a nice tomahawk for two, plus two salads, two sides, and two desserts for $120. The wine list needs a lot of work. Service was good. This place is more casual than other diners seem to think.
steak is overly salty and overly cooked. Environment is relatively noisy. Server is very good and food is coming out at a fairly reasonable speed.
My fiance' and I LOVE Flemings!!! We always have a great experience... from the host stand when we arrive to the final goodbyes as we walk out the door! And btw. Tomahawk Tuesday is the best deal around!!
It was OK, but not great
We got there 30 min early, fortunately parking wasn’t an issue and traffic was low. We were told we had to wait for our 5:45pm reservation because they were seating “on time” despite open tables clearly in view. At 615pm we were sat because while patiently waiting in the lounge with my wife and daughter, my daughter began to get impatient which reminded me it was 30 min past our “reservation” so I approached the host stand and they were on their phones. I asked them what “on time” seating meant to them and they sat us with attitude. We were on a time constriction, which I told them, so that soured the experience and unfortunately agitated our 6year old, thus starting the downhill experience. Food was Cooked as asked, that was delicious at least ....took too long to find our server and to top it off the fire alarm went off...happy mother’s day! For the price we paid and the time we waited it wasn’t worth it.
It’s a shame because this used to be my favorite restaurant and it’s clearly gone downhill. We could’ve stayed local and gone to the outback and had a far better evening. If it weren’t for my child crying due to being over tired and the alarms blaring I would’ve said more but we had to leave for our own sanity.
My family and I are regular patrons of this restaurant. We really enjoy the service, ambiance, and food! Our experience on Mother's Day was an exception. We had dinner there to celebrate my mother. Our waiter was very rude and cold, never introduced himself or gave us the specials menu. We had to repeatedly ask for things, such as in water, bread, one of our side dishes, and more alcoholic beverages. Most of the meal came out cold and our steaks were not cooked to our liking. But the waiter never checked in on us to see how our steaks were cooked. His attitude kind of put a damper on the experience. It was a $400 dollar meal and with the service and the way in which the food was presented, the value was not there. Upon leaving we mentioned the lack of service to the front desk and they responded with saying that they were aware of his attitude.
service was slow ,food was under cook ,wine list too short ,drinks were average
The food was amazing, but way over priced. We got put in a back room away from everything, no windows very dark. Would have liked to be at the window looking into Boston as we never go into Boston. Very friendly staff though.
Horrible service provided by the server. We were ignored most of the time, no water/drink refilled even after we asked for it. Didn't serve us bread until after the meal. I would recommend going to other steak houses like Ruth's Chris, or Wolfgang's for better steaks and much, much better service!!
Fleming's never disappoints. A true go to Steak House.
Overall we had a delicious meal at Fleming’s. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 was that our second cup of coffee was served cold. The steaks were very tender and the sides were plenty. We shared the chocolate lava cake. We would go back again
Outstanding food all around. Steaks were great. My daughter is a vegetarian and while there was nothing on the menu straight vegetarian they made her up a great dish. Service was great. IMO BEST steakhouse in Boston.
The service was top notch! The manager responded very quickly when we had a concern about one of our entrees. Everyone was incredibly amenable. The best over-all experience in Boston! Will definitely go again and recommend it to others.
Best steak in Boston. Great location and accessible parking garage.
Service and drinks were amazing. We were really underwhelmed by the food. I had a petit filet and it was chewy, cooked medium- I didnt finish it. The roasted carrots were greasy and really soft. The mussels were flavorless and fat. My husband's seabass was super salty. Definitely not worth the price. I would only come back for a drink. Our server was amazing, very knowledgeable. We lived in NYC for the past 10 years, so we may be spoiled with the food there and what we expect from a nice steakhouse.
The food was very good, steaks were cooked perfectly. The noise level was low, which was good so I could here my family talk. The waiter we had was very nice, he was checking in on us often which was good. The ambiance and lighting calm and cool. We believe overall this place should have 4 stars.
Exceptional per usual !
A wonderful dinner! The service was fantastic and the food delicious. It’s a bit expensive but for a special night out it’s worth it. Highly recommend!!
Had dinner after a show last night and Fleming's did not disappoint; the dining experience was exceptional. Steaks, sides, wine and service all perfect. One of the managers checked on our table which I thought was a nice touch. Maria was our server and she was just awesome. Highly recommend.
Wonderful food and service! Will definitely be coming back.
Chris was a fantastic server!
From the bread to the salad to the lamb, fantastic. I always go for special occasions, because of CONSISTENTCY
Here for the Boston Marathon and could not have been treated or eaten better.
The restaurant itself was perfectly nice, but if it were possible to rate one's fellow diners, I'd be awarding 1 star to the guy at the next table. Midway into our meal, he decided to have Siri report (aloud) on the current standings at the Masters. It's been a long time since I got to sit next to such an entitled jerk
Wonderful dinner. Our server Derek was fantastic. Made us feel very special!
I always a good time here, it wasn’t very busy on a week day, our food came out quick and delicious. My cocktail however, wasn’t all that impressive but my sister’s was really good so one out two :)
We had a wonderful time enjoying great service and food!
Love Fleming’s-our favorite for perfect steak and impeccable, friendly service. After many visits our server has become a friend and goes above and beyond to make we are happy.
Once again, very happy with the quality of food at Fleming's Steakhouse. We got the Porterhouse steak for 2, and it was delicious, melting in the mouth. The Bearnaise Sauce was the best I tasted in the US (I'm French) and the Fleming's potatoes were the most authentic gratin out of France! Our son devoured his tenderloin. Drinks were very good. I just wish sides were included with the meat, not an extra... Our waiter was very nice too. Overall, we fully enjoyed our evening at Fleming's and will be looking forward to come again.
Flemings is always excellent and although pricey, you are getting what you pay for, The service and attention is excellent. Meal was aboslutely delicious. the sweeet chili calamari is my favorite. I usually opt for the beef but this time I got the Sea Bass and it was so light with a delicious sauce. My friend had the tenderloin, which was very flavorful an d cooked to perfection. For sides we had the creamy mashed potatoes , asparagus and carots. All were fabulous. Have never had anything but an excellent meal here. Highly recommend it.
It was very nice and will return again. The waiter knew ever about he menu and it was a great evening
Service was wonderful (thank you, Tim!). The food was terrible. Given this is a steakhouse, the price/value/quality should result in the ultimate experience. My husband orders an aged steak (rib) and there was a tremendous amount of fat on the plate; he claimed it was not even tasty. He dines all over the country and was very disappointed to say the least. I shared/ordered salmon and filet mignon to share with my friend. The filet was not tasty at all. The salmon @ $47 tasted like someone pulled it out frozen from a box and slapped some BBQ sauce on it. Incredibly disappointed. The sides were good (Delmonico, spinach, brussel sprouts). Honestly, based on this one experience, I will not return and not recommend it to friends. Thanks for listening and good luck.
