Inspired by the rustic simplicity of Italian cuisine, Chef Paul Minnillo offers Italian food to his new culinary venture in Cleveland, Ohio. From Flour’s larder, he creates his own house-cured meats, hand-crafted artisanal cheeses, pastas, neopolitan wood-fired pizzas and rustic Italian specialities. Flour seeks the freshest locally raised and homegrown products harvested at their seasonal peak. We do offer first come first serve patio seating.

    Eat here. BEST nourishing chef crafted dishes. There’s something for all vegan vegetarian and omnivores. The service is on point. The lighting is perfect. Every table is a good one. The windows create an expansive view and allow a feeling of open-ness. Take your out of town guests to flour- Italian kitchen. XO

    I’m never disappointed here. The food is always great, and the vibe is lively. Sat at this bar this time and it was the first time we were helped by Sarah. She was awesome. Super fun and attentive. Will definitely be back soon.

    Scallop special excellent. Seared perfectly, risotto creamy and cooked al dente. 2 in party had chix parm which was a generous portion, tender and juicy. Carrots cooked perfect and just the right balance of sweet and savory. Thought the music was a little to dance club but at least it wasn't too loud.

    I enjoyed my dinner but the prices were ridiculous, since when you order on entree such as Branzini it is $38 with NO side dish included. Way overpriced!!!! Will not be back.

    I was excited to go as I have heard wonderful reviews, but not from my most descending friends. It’s a fun place and the service was very good to excellent. The food was very average. Specifically the calamari was perfectly cooked but very salty (and I love salt), the chicken parmigiana was under seasoned (how ironic) and served on over cooked bucatini, and the mushroom/truffle pizza is over the top truffled. If it were actually truffles this is actually not possible…but with truffle oil it is very easy to go too strong. Hope this is read as critical criticism and not just a nasty-gram.

    Why are kids allowed in the bar area running around and parents not doing anything. Kids are great but just because you can afford the dining establishment doesn’t mean you have to stop parenting. The food and drinks and waitresses was spot on but seriously I am not sure if management doesn’t care or they are to scared to say anything. Thank you for a fun evening and will be back.

    We love Flour and have a few favorites we always order: the pepperoni pizza, the tagliatelle bolognese, and the Bucatini + clams. Sometimes, we get the calamari, but it's not that good. I wonder why they ask if we're celebrating a special occasion when we make the reservation because nothing about the occasion (birthday, anniversary) is ever acknowledged when we dine there. No little card or a complimentary dessert or anything. It doesn't need to be a big thing, but if they ask about the occasion, you'd think there would be a cookie or something to honor us choosing this establishment out of others to celebrate.

    Flour keeps true to their delicious food and fun ambiance always, albeit a bit loud - but I am a regular so I expect it. (This is not a place for deep conversations:) just a very lively place to see n be seen. Our server Sierra was amazing and thoughtful, as always my interactions with her, she was kind enough to point out that the eggplant ‘meatballs’ are cooked in same oil/pan as meat, which pivoted me to another menu choices, and they were fantastic. Speedy and at the same time not hovering - the service at Flour is great as per usual. All around wonderful place!

    I usually don't post such things but my smashed avacado salad came minus the avacado. When they added it there was lots of skin left on it. Kinda gross. It's usually never like this I think something was a miss......

    The food is good, but the tables are on top of each other. It is hard to have an enjoyable meal with other people so close. This restaurant is also fairly expensive; the bill for two people was $125 with tip. No alcohol was consumed for this price.

    Pasta wasn’t cooked all the way. Server forgot to put in our salads. To her credit she was very kind , but she was clearly overwhelmed and had way too many tables while it seemed like other staff was standing around. Will give it another shot but probably not for a while.

    My friend started with a local green salad and had the Lamb Rigitoni for dinner. I started with the Eggplant meatballs and enjoyed the Sausage pizza for my dinner. Everything was outstanding.

    The food at Flour is very good. However, the noise level is unconscionably LOUD! "Energetic" does NOT describe it! Hang some drapes on the windows, put some textile art on the walls, put up some acoustic tiles on the ceiling, but do SOMETHING to make it possible to dine, and also have a conversation without feeling like you're shouting into a gale. All four members of our party agreed: we're never coming back unless we hear things have been significantly toned down re: volume. Sad but true...

    I’m consider a foodie. We were looking for some where new to go. We like Italian cuisine but we have been underwhelmed the last few restaurants. We were happily surprised with our evening at Flour. The front staff greeted us quickly and sat us (even though we were early for our reservation) The Menu was easy to navigate. Our Waiter (Randy R) was quick to get our cocktails , and when he returned we ordered our appetizers and dinner. There were four of us last night . The food was outstanding. Clams and pasta was very tasty Beef and the lamb Bolognese were flavorful A very pleasant evening for all.

    Our server couldn't have been nicer. but the dinner menu was too limited for my taste. Also, the noise level was deafening: 4 people at our table and we couldn't hear each other. Too bad it was raining, because their outside seating would have been more pleasant.

    The pizza was excellent! But the calamari was disappointing, the breading reminded me of mozzarella sticks you could get at a diner, and the plate was mostly arugula and not calamari. I heard so many great things about Flour that my expectations may have been too high. It was..fine. I really enjoyed my margherita pizza, But for 2 small pizzas, 3 drinks and a shared order of calamari that wasn’t good enough to finish, $120 (with tip) was too much. It was not good enough to go back

    This restaurant used to be one of the tops, now the food is awful, the service is really slow - mostly because they are understaffed. It needs a total overhaul. Definitely skip

    An outstanding wine list, clever cocktails, and first-rate food make Flour one of our favorite restaurants for lunch and for dinner. An order of fried olives and a glass of sparkling rose ... mmm, mmm, good! Be warned though: it can get loud and crowded as the rest of the region rolls in for after-work relaxation. Still, attentive service and the excellent food make up for a little hustle and bustle around the bar.
